She earned a PhD in philology from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Ia\u0219i, Romania (2005). From 1993 to 1995, she served as secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bucharest. She later taught Polish language at the UAIC University in Ia\u0219i (1995\u20132001), the University of Wroc\u0142aw (2006\u20132012), and the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (2022\u20132024). She translates from Romanian into Polish and from Polish into Romanian. Her Polish translations include novels and short stories by Romanian authors such as Lucian Dan Teodorovici, Cristian Teodorescu, Filip Florian, Dan Lungu, J. Cornelius, Oleg Serebrian, and Florin Irimia, published by Amaltea Press. She is currently working on new translations, including <em>Bucuresti, marea speranta <\/em>by Cristian Teodorescu and <em>Woldemar<\/em> by Oleg Serebrian. She has also translated Romanian plays for Polish theatre productions, including works by Gianina C\u0103rbunariu (<em>Stop the Tempo<\/em>, <em>Typographic Capital Letters<\/em>) and Denis Dinulescu (<em>A Day in the Life of Nicolae Ceau\u015fescu<\/em>). As a translator of Polish literature into Romanian, she has published translations of short stories by S\u0142awomir Mro\u017cek, poems by Zbigniew Herbert, and prose by Hanna Krall and Pawe\u0142 Huelle.
